the host will no longer invite LFI to his set “until further notice”

The towel continues to burn between Cyril Hanouna and France Insoumise after his altercation with MP Louis Boyard. The host of C8 announced Friday, November 18 in front of the camera that he would not invite any more party members on his show Do not touch My TVand this “until further notice”.

Cyril Hanouna then reacted to a video of Jean-Luc Melenchon, in which the leader of France Insoumise repeats in particular several times: “We are not your friends, and we will never be”, specifying “we go wherever we can carry our word”. “He didn’t say he wasn’t coming to our house anymore. But to come to someone’s house, you have to be invited“replied the host, to the laughter of his columnists and the public. “For the moment, it is I who say it myself, LFI, until further notice, they are no longer invited on the set. Like that, it’s clear,” continued the star host of C8.

On November 10, on the set of Do not touch My TVa violent altercation had broken out between the presenter and the deputy LFI Louis Boyard, former columnist of the show. The star host of C8 had insulted the young deputy who had just mentioned the legal troubles of Vincent Bolloré, owner of the Canal+ group and the channel which broadcasts the program. After this case and the seizure of the audiovisual regulator, Arcom, C8 and the show could also be sanctioned. A case to follow?
