The French Navy has lost one of its Camcopter S-100 drones at sea

One of the two rotary-wing aerial drones of the Camcopter S-100 type on board the amphibious helicopter carrier (PHA) Tonnerre, deployed as part of the Corymbe mission in the Gulf of Guinea, crashed at sea in early November while the building of the French Navy evolved off the African coast. An investigation is underway to determine the exact causes of this accident, indicates a military source who confirmed yesterday to Mer et Marine the loss of this machine. This one has apparently been the victim of a technical problem which precipitated his fall, while he was making a training flight.
