Strasbourg 1-1 Lorient
Goals: Diallo (87e) for Strasbourg // Moffi (5e) for Lorient
Opposed to Lorient at home on behalf of the fifteenth day of Ligue 1, Strasbourg has not regained the taste of victory and remains penultimate in the standings with two points behind Stade Brestois (sixteenth, first non-relegation ). But at least the RCSA did not lose despite unfavorable circumstances and found the resources to equalize as additional time approached: led since the fifth minute of play and an achievement by Moffi conceded from a corner, the Alsatians came back to courage thanks to a cross from Bellegarde taken over by Diallo. A lesser evil when we hit twenty times on goal, even if the RCSA will pass the truce with only one success on the counter and full of doubts.
For their part, the Hakes believed to resume their march forward after four games without winning (including two consecutive losses, current series until this Sunday). Especially since the Bretons could have finished the first half with a two-goal lead, at least: Ponceau claimed a penalty following a vague intervention by Djiku, Pierre-Gabriel saved his team in front of the attacking midfielder, and Moffi missed the double when he was alone against Sels. Alas, Mannone had to admit defeat at the end after having nevertheless released two decisive saves on attempts by Bellegarde. Pending the meeting of Olympique de Marseille, the visitors however switch to fourth position.
Now, the band of Le Bris has a little over a month to think about qualifying places for Europe!
